# What are my API limits?

How your API limits relate to your credits, whether credits can be moved between export and API calls, and where to see how much of the limit is left.

### What are my API limits?

Your API limits depend on your number of credits, which is set individually for each customer. You can find the exact number in your contract.

You can use credits in two ways:

* **Exporting companies** from Prospector
* **API calls** to endpoints (the endpoints you can use are listed in your contract)

By arrangement, we can move your credits to API calls, or split them: part for export and part for the API. Contact us at <support@bizmachine.com>.

### How much of my API limit have I used, and how much is left?

The total limit and the remaining monthly limit for API calls are shown in the response header of every API call. You can also contact <support@bizmachine.com> and we will tell you your API limits right away.
