# How to set up the Raynet integration with Prospector

How to activate the native Raynet integration with Prospector, which fields it syncs, how to set up automatic account transfer, and how to fix problems.

*Updated: 7 October 2026*

Raynet CRM has a direct integration with Prospector. It needs no third-party integration tool, and you set it up directly in Raynet.

This guide covers activating the integration, the data it synchronizes, and setting up the automatic transfer of accounts.

After you activate the integration, account cards in Raynet show the Activity Index, a tab with the full Prospector company profile, an option to enrich the account with company data, and labels from Prospector.

***

### What do you need before you activate the integration?

* **Access to Raynet with the administrator role.** Only an administrator can activate the integration.
* **A Prospector API key.** You generate it in Prospector under **Settings** » **API**. How to do it: [How do I generate an API key?](/en/api-and-integrations/generating-an-api-key.md)
* **An activated Prospector API endpoint.** We activate the endpoint on request. Contact <support@bizmachine.com>.

***

### Part 1: Activate the integration

#### 1. Ask us to activate the API endpoint

The integration uses the Prospector API, so your account must have the relevant API endpoint activated. Contact us at <support@bizmachine.com> and we will set it up for you. At the same time, we recommend that you ask <support@bizmachine.com> to create an [integration account](/en/api-and-integrations/integration-account.md) in Prospector, so that the integration is separate from user access.

#### 2. Open the Raynet settings

In Raynet, click your name in the upper right corner and select **Settings**.

#### 3. Open the Prospector add-on

In the left menu, open **Add-ons**. In the **Information about Companies** section, click **Activate** on the **Prospector** tile.

#### 4. Enter the API key and activate

On the **Integration with Bizmachine Prospector** page, enter your Prospector API key in the **API key** field and click **Activate**.

<figure><img src="https://247275268-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FYkl7SJ14Nk0vzhVx7upl%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-5f89abbcf264c614b6300ce746d6ad1c7cffa22d%2Fraynet-integration-api-klic-aktivovat.png?alt=media" alt="The Integration with Bizmachine Prospector page in Raynet with the API key field and the Activate button"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### 5. The integration is active

After activation, you can use:

* the Activity Index on the account card
* the **Data from Prospector** tab on the account card
* the **Prospector** section on the **Custom fields** tab, with automatically synchronized fields
* the **Update from Prospector** action on the account detail card and in the Account list view
* **One-off updates** of all accounts in the add-on settings
* labels synchronized from Prospector

### What does the integration do?

#### Activity Index

The right panel on the account card shows the company's **Activity Index**. When you hover over the panel, the **Captured activities** tooltip shows the activities the index is based on.

<figure><img src="https://247275268-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FYkl7SJ14Nk0vzhVx7upl%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-83593c7ecdf9cc557c66108a24f6f25577cd9dfd%2Fraynet-integration-index-aktivity-panel.png?alt=media" alt="The Prospector panel on a Raynet account card with the Activity Index and the Captured activities tooltip"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### The Data from Prospector tab

When you click the Activity Index panel, a separate **Data from Prospector** tab opens with all available information about the company. It is a preview of the full Prospector company profile.

<figure><img src="https://247275268-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FYkl7SJ14Nk0vzhVx7upl%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-ae6cd35332a3058e897d2f3d1dbeae50bfca963f%2Fraynet-integration-zalozka-udaje.png?alt=media" alt="The Data from Prospector tab on a Raynet account card with the full Prospector company profile"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### The Prospector section with synchronized fields

When you turn on the integration, optional fields are created automatically on the **Custom fields** tab, grouped into the **Prospector** section. You can use these fields to filter accounts. You cannot edit the data in these fields directly in Raynet. They are updated only from Prospector.

<figure><img src="https://247275268-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FYkl7SJ14Nk0vzhVx7upl%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-517ab355fc9c325121eb9f40cdcf0cddb7400485%2Fraynet-integration-panel-prospector-pole.png?alt=media" alt="The Custom fields tab of a Raynet account card with the Prospector section"><figcaption><p>Where to find the Prospector section. The list of fields it contains is below.</p></figcaption></figure>

**Basic company attributes**

This data is synchronized to the standard fields of the account card:

* Primary address (street, city, postal code, coordinates, country)
* Primary contact (email, phone, website)
* Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter
* Name, legal form, number of employees, industry
* Identification number (IČO), Tax ID (DIČ), date of establishment, VAT payer, file number
* Tags: all labels that the company has in Prospector are transferred. Each one gets the prefix **BP:** so you can recognize it easily.

**Fields in the Prospector section**

You can filter by the optional fields in the **Prospector** section:

* Date of termination
* Institutional sector
* Justice (link to justice.cz)
* Total assets, Assets currency, Assets year
* Health
* Number of connected companies
* Prospector (link directly to the company profile in Prospector)
* Prospector category
* Custom description of activity
* Revenue, Revenue currency, Revenue year
* Risks
* Number of online stores
* Number of branches
* Number of personal contacts

#### Search when you create a new account

When you create a new account, Raynet automatically searches for the company in Prospector by the identification number you enter. An animation in the **Identification number** field shows that the search is running. If the data from Prospector differs from the values that autocomplete suggests, a panel shows the differences and lets you choose which data to save.

#### The Updated from Prospector filter

In the Account list view, open the **Advanced filter** and add the condition **Updated from Prospector** with the value **Yes** or **No**. **Yes** shows accounts created or updated with data from Prospector. **No** shows accounts without this data.

<figure><img src="https://247275268-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FYkl7SJ14Nk0vzhVx7upl%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-a3dafa3a828ff1488abff1a7b41ba4e6a1fddef2%2Fraynet-integration-filtr-aktualizovani.png?alt=media" alt="The Advanced filter in the Raynet Account list view with the Updated from Prospector condition and the options Yes and No"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### When is the data updated?

> To update a company in Raynet or match it with Prospector, the account must have at least the **Identification number** (IČO) and the **Country** (Czech Republic, Slovakia or Poland) filled in. Without these details, enrichment and matching cannot run.

The synchronized fields are updated in these situations:

* **When you create an account.** The data is downloaded automatically when you save the new record.
* **The Update from Prospector action on the account detail card.** A manual update of one record (**...** in the upper right corner » **Update from Prospector**).
* **The Update from Prospector action in the Account list view.** An update of the selected records (select the companies in the list » **Edit** » **Update from Prospector**).
* **One-off updates in the add-on settings.** Available for all accounts, or only for those that have not been updated from Prospector yet.
* **When you assign the To Raynet label to an existing account in Prospector.** This works only if the automatic transfer of accounts is set up (see [Part 2](#part-2-set-up-the-automatic-transfer-of-accounts)).

#### Bulk update

To update a larger number of accounts at once, go to **Settings** » **Add-ons** » **Information about Companies** » **Prospector** and start an update in the **One-off updates** section. In the dialog, choose one of the options and click **Run**:

* **update only Accounts that do not yet contain data from Prospector.** Skips records that already have data from Prospector.
* **update all Accounts.** Updates all records, whether or not they already have data from Prospector.

The update runs in the background, and Raynet notifies you of the result.

### Part 2: Set up the automatic transfer of accounts

The automatic transfer is an optional feature. It transfers companies from Prospector to Raynet as new accounts, based on a label you assign in Prospector.

Before you set up the transfer, create two labels in Prospector: one for companies to transfer and one for companies that have already been transferred. You can name them as you like. In this guide, we use the names **To Raynet** and **In Raynet**. After you create them, the labels appear in the **To be transferred** and **Transferred** drop-down menus.

You can find the settings in the same section as the activation: **Settings** » **Add-ons** » **Information about Companies** » **Prospector**. Turn on **Transfer accounts automatically**.

<figure><img src="https://247275268-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FYkl7SJ14Nk0vzhVx7upl%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-baf3e29f4d497a2d013b224a731a288db89814cb%2Fraynet-integration-prenos-nastaveni.png?alt=media" alt="Settings for the automatic transfer of accounts from Prospector in Raynet, with the owner of new records and the two label fields for Czech companies"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Fill in these fields:

**Owner of new records**: select the user under whom the new account records are created. The new records get that user's security level.

**To be transferred**: select the Prospector label that marks the companies to transfer. Every company that you mark with this label in Prospector is transferred to Raynet automatically. Select the label separately for Czech, Slovak and Polish companies (for example, under **Czech companies**).

**Transferred**: select the label that Prospector adds automatically to companies after they are transferred to Raynet. Select the label separately for Czech, Slovak and Polish companies.

> If the company does not exist in Raynet yet, the transfer creates it as a new account and enriches it with data from Prospector. If the account already exists in Raynet, the transfer only updates its data to the latest values from Prospector.

***

### Troubleshooting

**The data does not appear on the account card.** Check that you entered the API key correctly and clicked **Activate**. Try generating a new key in Prospector and entering it in the Raynet settings.

**Raynet shows an error when you save the API key.** Check that you copied the whole key, with no spaces at the beginning or the end.

**A company with the label was not transferred to Raynet.** Check that the **To be transferred** field has a label selected for the company's country (CZ, SK or PL). The label name must match the label in Prospector exactly.

**The Data from Prospector tab does not load.** Check that the API key is still valid. If the problem continues, contact support at <support@bizmachine.com>.
