# Task Center: track running exports and AI Prioritization

How to check the state of a running export or AI Prioritization in the Task Center and download the result as soon as it is finished.

The Task Center in the top bar of Prospector shows the status of tasks that run in the background: exports and AI Prioritization runs. You do not have to stay on the page and wait for them to finish. You can keep working in Prospector in the meantime.

### How to open the Task Center

In the top bar, click the **Task Center** button next to the help icon and your avatar.

For each task you see its name (for example `Export: Potenciál pro B2B -... (5)`) and its status: running, or completed with the time of completion. The number in parentheses after the name is the number of companies the task covers.

### How to tell that something is running

As long as at least one task is running, the button in the top bar changes to **Running 1 task...** (or a higher number) with a loading symbol. You can see that something is running without opening the Task Center. The list shows running and completed tasks together, each with its own status.

As soon as the last running task finishes, the button changes back to **Task Center**, and every item in the list shows **Completed** and the time it finished.

### What appears in the Task Center

* After you start an export, whether a company export or an AI Prioritization export
* After you run AI Prioritization on a segment or a label

### How to download an export

Hover over a completed export in the list and click the download icon. The file downloads right away. AI Prioritization tasks have nothing to download: you see their result in Prospector on the evaluated companies.

### You cannot cancel a running task

Once you start a task, it runs to the end. You cannot cancel it.

### Frequently asked questions

**Do I have to stay on the page until an export or AI Prioritization finishes?** No. The task runs in the background, so you can continue with other work in Prospector in the meantime. When it is done, you will see it in the Task Center.

**How do I download a finished export?** Hover over the completed export in the Task Center and click the download icon. The download starts right away.

**Can I cancel a running AI Prioritization or export?** No. Once a task starts, it cannot be canceled. Wait for it to finish.
