It also shows which positions the company is advertising and how many job ads we have captured for it in the last 90 days. You can also search for companies by the roles found, for example "find manufacturing companies where you know someone in IT leadership". It works in ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot Studio. {% hint style="info" %} **We count publicly available contacts, not employees.** A zero for a department means we found no public record for it. Someone may still work in that role. Keep this in mind when setting up filters and segments. {% endhint %} ### Before you start * **Replace the text in square brackets with your own values.** For example `[industry]`, `[region]`, `[number of employees]`, `[company]`, `[name]`. * **The sample answers are shortened.** They come from September and October 2026, and the answer you get today may differ. ### Start with the companies where we already know someone in the right role {% code overflow="wrap" %} ``` Find companies in [industry] with [number of employees] employees in [region] where you know at least one person in IT leadership, and save them to the label '[name]'. ``` {% endcode %} The assistant narrows the segment to the companies where we found at least one record in the role you are looking for, and saves the selection to a label right away. For each one, list the specific positions. ``` {% endcode %} The assistant goes through the whole label and returns only the companies that posted a job ad for a position in the selected category in that period, and lists the position titles for each one. For each department we distinguish between leadership and specialist positions. | | Examples of roles | How the roles are named at the specific company. | | Open positions | Job ads that are still active, as far as we know. They show what the company is hiring for right now. | | Job ads in 90 days | Open positions plus the ads that ended in the last 90 days. They show how actively the company is hiring. | | Position categories | The field of the advertised position, which is different from the industry of the company. As of September 2026, we distinguish 36 categories. One ad can have more than one category. | | Filter result | The filter always returns companies. You find people and contacts in Prospector. | ### What limitations to expect * **It is not an organization chart.** We return counts by role. We do not show who reports to whom. * **Coverage is uneven.** For some companies we find dozens of roles, for others a single one. This is unrelated to company size. * **The roles come from public sources.** The person may have changed role or left since then. * **You cannot filter by a group of connected companies yet.** You get the roles for one company at a time, not for the whole group. ### Where is the data available, and where does it come from? As of September 2026, roles by department are available in all five countries BizMachine covers. For now, job ad and hiring data covers only the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We find the roles on LinkedIn, company websites and online portals, and the hiring information in publicly posted job ads. The connector returns counts, categories and position titles, not the names of people or the full text of the ads. From an ad we take the position title and category, the region, the posting date and the link. ### Frequently asked questions **What is the difference between the roles found and the positions being hired for?** The roles found show who we know at the company. The positions being hired for show who the company is looking for. As of September 2026, we found at least two contact records in marketing at 4,313 companies, while 379 companies posted a marketing job ad in the last 30 days. Knowing someone at a company and the company hiring are two different signals. **Why is the sum of the categories higher than the number of ads?** One ad can have several categories at the same time. Use the number of open positions and the number of job ads in 90 days as your reference. **Does a zero mean the company does not have that department?** No. A zero means we did not find any contact record in that department. Even for a company with 50 to 99 employees, we may find only a single record. **Do I get the names and contact details of specific people?** No. The connector returns companies and counts by role. You can find specific people in Prospector. **Can I get the roles for a whole group of companies at once?** No. You always see the roles for one company at a time.
